Cannot Play DayZ after installing Origins

Recommended Posts

I bought Arma 2 straight from bohemia interactive. Installed DayZ and it worked great. Installed Origins, and it works as expected. But now that I've installed Origins, I can't play on any DayZ servers. It says I have the wrong version and kicks me from every server I try to connect to.

Strange enough, the splash screen for EVERY server is now a dayZ Origins screen.

I've tried Play with 6 and DayZ Commander. DayZ Commander says my Arma 2 is not found, even though its pointing to the correct directory.

My windows install is on drive C:, my Arma2/DayZ/Origins install is on drive F. Updates installed fine (or so they reported) but no progress playing DayZ, and I really miss Cherno.

Any ideas as to what I've done wrong or how to fix it? Thanks in advance. Standing by hoping for prompt assistance. Just wanna kill some zombies.

DayZ Commander says my Arma 2 is not found

This means that you don't have the beta installed. Try pressing the "Install" button next to where it says Arma 2 is not found. Make sure that your DayZ was not corrupt:

Also, try to join a server through DayZ commander instead of whatever other launcher you are using.
