30 Second logout time?

pretty simple after selecting abort from a server you must wait 30 seconds before you actually get removed from the game.

I believe this would fix the quiting before death problem and is much simpler and an improvement over the current system.

Don't agree. 30 seconds is a really long time. Try going into the middle of a pack of zombies and sitting there for 30 seconds. That is what would happen to players that legitimately lose connection.

Yeh, I agree, at least 30 seconds. Maybe even a minute or 2, with a re-join cool down timer that doesn't let you join any server again for another 5 minutes, to discourage server hopping.

Yeah, this has been discussed plenty, the devs are aware and want a longer timer but the current restrictions do not allow it.
