Errr... Do you mean how do you add a whitelist to your server? Because unless I'm mistaken (which is possible!), there isn't a whitelist of servers.

or he could mean get the server whitelisted by the dayz team for a public hive

Yeah, it's possible that was what he meant. Hooray for a descriptive and informative first post, I guess.

They stopped whitelisting servers a while back, contact one of the Dev team to confirm but i'm 99% sure.

You're better off having a private server or using a games host who have pre-whitelisted servers.
