sacredblade 0 Posted June 23, 2013 I just bought the steam package, Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead because I wanted to download Dayz mod. I downloaded both and ran into multiple problems leading me to try and reinstall for a 3rd time. I downloaded Arma 2 and ran it then I downloaded Arma 2 OA and opened it. I proceeded to download Dayz mod. Went into Arma 2 OA and activated the @dayz expansion. After I did that, the game restarts and it gives me an error - Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_CommunityCOnfigurationProject_E'. I click OK and the game starts and when I try to join a game it tells me unable to connect to server and I have an invalid CD key. I have looked every where to find a working solution and cannot seem to get it working. I would appreciate some help. TY Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
badluckburt 974 Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) You might want to try installing DayZ with DayZ Commander or PlayWithSix. I'd go with DayZ Commander personally, it makes managing DayZ very easy.But I think the problem is that you're not loading the CBA-mod (Community Based Addons), I could be wrong here though.
