Nath! 0 Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) How's it going guys. I'll keep this fairly short for now just to save us both some time. Anyway, these last few weeks i've been getting back into DayZ. Since I last played it so much has come up and evolved. The last time I played there was no such thing as private hives and new maps.After spending a few days browsing the forums and playing through the nights. I thought to myself, there really isn't a serious RP server that suites me. Since university is now finished for the year I've got some spare time and money on my hands it seems like the perfect time to start up my own hive.Skip to here if you don't care about what i do with my life.Anyway, so here's what i'm thinking. I put together a custom world, with serious survival rp in mind. Obviously the server will be whitelisted with an application process to weed out anyone who is purely there to troll and make it frustrating for the rest of us.I'm sure I don't need to explain what I mean by serious roleplay. Anyway, reading over this now and it's not sounding.......... The best. So i'll leave it there. I'd love to hear any honest feedback/suggestions. I know it's not something that is going to appeal to the masses but if a small group of people would enjoy it then it would defiantly be worth my time. IcyZ 295 Posted June 20, 2013 I recently left the RP community cause of the fagboys,eehm, fanboys of Psi that joined and fucked it up. If you come across some of the old members you'll have a good time, otherwise it sucks. As I said on my "goodbye" post there, RP stands for RePort and not roleplay, everyone is trying to get KOS rights or Report rights instead of actually RPing and are the only good moments I had on the RP servers.I recommend giving it a try, but you'll get disapointed really quick.Plus, dont expect RP from the DayZ community. You'll find 10 guys that will actually RP and then 20 kids will join and fuck everything. I just feel like I could create such a nice environment for players that want to put time and effort into role play and weed out those 20 kids that don't.Of course I will pm you if I decide to take it forward. apfelsator 14 Posted June 27, 2013 I had a look at apocalypse-rp and i really like the community so far.It only seems to lack players as of now, the additional mod with the extra vehicles, weapons and items is very interesting in my opinion.Go there, the more people there roleplaying, the more fun it gets.
