My First Day in DayZ

I've had ARMA 2 before so, i thought I'd check this out. Downloaded the mod that i've heard of so many good things about. What i didn't expect is the amazingness (is that even a word lol?) of this mod.

My first game was not so bad. But it was around my 5th and 6th respawn that i started getting the hang of it! Get away from the beach, prone/crouch walk. Don't get noticed, So far i haven't seen anyone. By the time i found my first revolver in an abandoned castle, I was crazy about the game. Couldn't keep my hands off the keyboard. It all changed when i ran out of ammo and was in a nearby village. Being chased by 4 Zeds I thought i was going to die. My blood around 7k, Then I heard gunshots and i panicked then when i looked back all of them dropped dead. And ATV with 1 guy pulled up. hitched me a ride c: then i had to eat.

I'm glad i met awesome people! :D hopefully i won't get backstabbed and stuff! but i got nothing good! and I'm about to log in!

For new players out there getting discouraged! keep on going! >:D

Very nice story happened almost the same for me. I was the only one with a gun out of 5 other people, and I have never met them. Then 2 of them vanish, and another guy finds a makorav. And we meet another guy with a lot of good stuff. Soon the guy with th pistol kills the guy with good stuff and starts shooting at me. Shoot him once with my endfield then another time in the head just in case. And the other guy with us runs like hell out of their. I take both of the guys gear RIP guy with good stuff. I then look at the debug info one bandit kill, and over 100 zombie kills. I did not feel so bad after having to kill the guy after seeing the bandit kill.

I hate that everyone had so much of a better first time than me, but no time to be mad/jelly. Welcome to the game and i hope you have fun.

If you see me and/or van_Grunz on a server, you can play a bit easier, for we are always friendly and trying to help people out. Just don't shoot at us first. ;)

Last night i bandaged someone shooting zombies. I told him/her "keep shooting, i bandage you!". He/she left some food and soda, that was a cool encounter. :)
