US-1 Tent Didn't Save?

I got a tent today, threw it up around 4 hours ago. Took a break for a nap, logged back in, tent was gone.

I made sure to save the tent three times with the scroll wheel save, and I also made sure that my personal save timer reset and started ticking up. I put a buttload of shit inside before I got off, and it vanished with the tent.

Anything I can do? :s

There is a chance that it didn't load after server start, we having same problem on NY1 server with tents\vehicles sometimes not loading after restart. Probably you got the same case. Better wait till server will restart (it seems that US1 is down at the moment)

Yes, for reasons unknown to me (i'm not a dev) sometimes vehicles\tents\fortifications don't load on server start.

I am having the same problem with a tent I placed on US-3. Will they be reloaded the next time the server restarts or are they gone for good?

i found a tent last night and got into a spot and logged out maybe 2 hours later with it in my inventory, and i just logged in now and its fucking gone. This wasnt on a US server though.

If it was in your inventory and you logged before the Unsaved: false (0s) was showing in your debug info window top right of the screen... Then you may have logged out before your character info was saved to the server. There are times I have seen it get past 5mins without a save. Always make sure it says false (0s). If it says true (#s), the # is the amount seconds since your last character save. There is no way to force this, you just have to wait it out.

I waited for it to save twice before logging out just to be sure. Still gone.

Same issue here. The problem seems to persist even in the event of the tent and characters being fully "Saved" at the time of disconnect.

Can someone explain this issue a little better, if there is a known fix?

I died a few hours after placing my tent, the server restarted, and when I got to my tent (less than 12 hours after placing it, let alone death) it was unbound to me. I think if you die and the server restarts, the tent is unbound. All my items were gone and I am unable to pick it up. Not only did I lose my stuff, I have to find a new tent-spot because now there's a ghost-tent stuck where I want mine.
