HELP changing character name

so i have been playing day z for a while now and recently i bought a new computer when i first booted up dayz on the new comp it made my ingame name user which is obviously stupid. i went to the player profile tab of the main menu of arma and tried to edit my name. when this didnt work i tried to create a new account and use that, however this also didnt work im still user, so finally i decided to try to delete the other account but when i click on it the delete option goes grey and wont let me get rid of it. PLEASE HELP

You just create a new profile via the main menu and use that, easy-peasy.

Despite what Fraggle says, do not use easy-peasy , i have someone in Olsha that already goes by that name..and he was easy. Like a 20 cent man ho,

You so silly. I've only ever used one profile in DayZ - Fraggle!

Actually I did change my name to BaseHunter briefly to go and hunt down a clan that pissed me off but that's a different story.

If you have your keys binded to different buttons, i wouldn't create a new profile. Just edit your current.

I play as DemonGroover normally, sometimes as mad, nazi pig dog hunter Sergei Fukemov and occasionally i will wander Chernarus as a movie star annoying people with movie quotes (usually gets me shot)
