Probably the most immersive situation i was ever in

I'm loving this mod, it hasn't been a week yet of me playing this, but it's enough for me to love it, and i just went out of possibly the most immersive situation i've ever found myself into.

Having spawned, i noticed i was pretty near Electro, near the boat at the shore, i didn't notice before entering but i was on a hardcore server. Not really my cup of tea, but i tought "well i can't go third person, but neither can the people here... i'll give it a shot". Found a house, but when i entered i heard flies... the kind you hear when there's a dead player around.

I began to get worried, thinking there might be someone inside, but not that much since i had nothing useful on me atm, checked inside, nobody, looted the corpse and to my surprise he was packed, but he didn't have any guns on him, so surely it must have been a zombie... or a really mean spirited bandit who dosn't even loot his victims. Also found a cammo gear inside.

Things go down the shitter as i enter the next building, because zombies hear me, and i start to run for it, i enter the bulding and find an hatchet, wich i use to hack away the ones that followed me (i might add, the hatchet is freaking OP). Shots were all over the city, makarov shots, and a really heavy shotgun to the other side... and the fire station is pretty near me along with the church, 2 very prominent player locations around... i decided to avoid both until i could get a good look around and make sure there was nobody in then. To my surprise, it was empty, and i found an MP414, and an AKM, both with 2 clips on then, took the AKM and got to the rooftop to look around the city with some binoculars i found...

And that's when noobish side screwed things up pretty badly for me. I was looking around, went back to the third floor, but, forgeting that i was crouched, i try to look sideways pressing E, and i fall to the second floor... i tought i was done for, but luckily i woke up with 5140 blood on me... i could hear almost nothing, worse, i broke my leg and had no morphine. Tought about getting to the medical station... but the gunshots were getting more intense, i took the risk tough.

Jumping ahead, i find a map inside a house, but when i get near the hospital i notice all the windows are broken, when suddenly i faintly hear shots and loads of zombies rush the other way, i keep still afraid they might see me. At this point i was completely paranoid, i was ready to unload my AKM on whoever came close to me, especially because i was near the big building near the hospital where people usually like to camp and snipe. I take a risk and cross the road, i get inside, to my shock almost everything was looted, problably loads of people took advantage of this place. Getting desperate at this point, i start to lose hope but i find some morphine.

Jumping to the end (this is alredy long enough), i get into another bulding, more gunshots really close, super paranoid waiting inside the building for somoene to show himself in the corridor, escaped, and made my way to the hill and north...

This was without a doubt the most intense situation i was ever been in a video game, at points i was actually sweating a bit. Hope i get into more situations like this in future plays.

i enjoyed it. Everytime you enter electro or cherno on a 50+ pop server you're in for an adventure.
