Infection and rest or sleep

How do you do this? I don't know how to sleep or rest, but I know how to sit.

Can anyone explain? Thanks!

Also, excellent patch, I try to give constructive criticism but don't laud the efforts enough, and I really find it difficult to play my other games like skyrim or deus ex human revolution. The game just never gets old. :D

If you have a tent placed recently and you havent died once after then you should have the option to rest.

Does it actually have an effect like restore blood and/or status effects? Do I need to make sure it's on flat ground before using so the tent doesn't eat me like in Origins?

I don't think it restores blood...and I suggest you have it on flat ground just in case :)

There is a lot of beds in the game (like in military baraks), and also there are lots of floor mattress in some buildings. They could have this option. Tents could be used to sleep and store itens, and beds only to sleep and try to cure infections and restore some amount of blood.

Never thought of taking a nap in a barracks or apartment...most likely wake up dead. I died two days after pitching my tent so that option is out...unless, if you pack and repitch your tent will it reset?

The animation has been buggy since forever though. Twice i have been rammed in the ass by zeds when assuming the look how cool i am rest position at tents. For some reason my dude does the animation twice which takes about a minute and i cannot cancel it once i select it. Fuckers.
