The game won't launch

Hi, I have been playing Dayz for about a month now, but, after the recent updates I have been unable to launch the game, it loads up but still shows me my desktop with the in-game mouse, i'm not sure what I can do, can you please suggest some options. Thanks Dane

Dane, where did you purchase the game steam? retail?

Are you using dayzcommander? If so what is your current dayz version and beta patch set at?

Hi, I brought the game through steam, and I am using Dayzcommander. my current Dayz version is 1.7.7 and my arma 2 is 103718, I hope this helps

Nope, it was working before and this is the first problem i have had with it, the music plays as well but the game doesn't load, it just shows my background, thinking back I had a play around with the in-game screen size, anyway of changing this without going in game?

Uncheck the launch using steam box in settings for dayzcommander then try firing it up
