[SA] Regarding Zombie Knockdown

Recommended Posts

So I've seen a few Standalone videos, and I think the knockdown feature is a good idea. But I noticed that the character is completely helpless from the time he is knocked down to the time he has stood up again. I think that being knocked down should allow the player to shoot from the ground while on his back, similar to the ArmA III shooting stance above prone.

Thanks for reading.

This would be a fantastic addition, although, I'd suggest it should only be a position which sidearms could be fired from. (Imagine this stance under a tree, very concealed; no grass blocking vision)

I could see people luring a zed to a treeline, getting knocked down like this, and after dispatching the zed switching to primary; if it's a sniper rifle then a far superior stance to snipe from instead of being completely prone. It'd be too good imo, so a limit to firing sidearms only.....?

Awesome idea, it would be a great addition to the game, and add to its realism
