Blood levels and desaturation

Recommended Posts

We all know that on low blood colours start to get desaturated, right? Right. What I don't like about this is that you can lose a miniscule amount of blood and your screen will desaturate slightly. I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices this and finds it annoying. I hate having everything slightly desaturated because I got hit by one zombie five minutes ago, so my suggestion is that desaturation should slowly start when you reach 9000 blood and keep going down until its at the appropriate level to whatever blood you're on. This will be much better for players like me and will help everyone tell that they're in trouble when everything starts gradually getting darker and darker.

Are we talking Mod or SA?

If it's the mod, it doesn't bother me either way, since there's an icon to let you know how healthy you are and it's easily fixed by bloodbag or food anyway.

In the standalone we won't have a HUD, so the slightest hint of desaturation will signify being at less than tip-top condition.

We'll need that indication.

Mod, and I agree with you about the standalone.

I approve of this suggestion.

nothing grinds my gears more than one zombie hitting me and i have to look at a slightly desaturated screen until i find blood.

which is usually around 20 mins.

Man your signature is syncing perfectly with the music I'm listening to right now.

I can't stop looking at it.

And yes, that shit is annoying as hell. Usually I wait until I need to eat and that gets me back to full most of the time.
