Does dayz on steam work after the patch

I just want to know If you play dayz with the steam version if the patch made it so that the steam version does not work.

Or did the steam version patch and it works fine.

No "use dayz commander' comments just answer the question if you can.

Anytime i ever tried too use the steam version even with the beta patch it always said that my beta patch was out of date when it wasn't. but you can launch through steam using dayz commander.

Steam was updated to 1.7.7, whether it works though I couldn't answer.

Ok well as long is it is patched it is down to how bad the steam version seems to be

i patch up with Dayz Commander and use steam to navigate from server to server..

i don't know why i do this i just do.

i think i have trust issues with Dayz Commander.

but to answer your question yes.

i hopped on last night without any problems via steam to a 1.7.7 server.

ok cool i will try this week end because I will be able to play dayz before I get my new laptop but It will have to be with the steam version so I am glad it seems to work.

I will post my results after I hopefully try it soon
