BattlEye Server Filters for DayZ Mod 1.8.4

I am looking for the help too. I have neve done this before and the different ideas coming from different people are creating chaos. Please do help.

Hey man, any chance you could point me in the right direction for this please? 

I'm setting up new filters for something and I keep getting kicked for a public variable restriction.

This is the line in my log

#25 "remExFP" = [,<NULL-object>,"per","hideObject",true]

So to the line 5 "remExFP" I've tried adding this, but it still keeps kicking me.

That is from the invisible script in infistar's admin menu if you are using it.

 

Just replace the admininvis script with this one. It does not use RE to hideObject on all clients. Instead it uses invisible skin survivor1_dz:

 

It's the base building that I'm using that's causing the kick sadly. We use that line to toggle 'gates' (concrete walls).

Is there something wrong here with this player?

I have noticed these lines in my setvariable.log Is it of any concern?  Caught my eye since it is infrequent compared to a lot of the other log data.  It also appears that it occurs to the same players .

Will the BE filters be updated to the new REGEX format soon?  This change seems to have been thrown at us out of no where and not all of us know how to use regular expressions and convert our BE filters over to it.

 

It's a bit unsettling that this took place leaving what is likely all DayZ servers (public and private) unprotected.

Could we have a responce regarding this plz.

If it's relevant to you at all, I've got the current filters that Faco and I have worked on here.  They offer the new regex-compatible filters so you'll be compliant.  Perhaps we can use this thread moving forward if you have filter issues.  Post a reply here with any filter questions moving forward.

These filters seem to work great, Thanks for the work done on them. At least the servers can now be protected again. :)

ex:

 

03.02.2014 00:40:10: playername (ip) GUID - #16 "HandGrenade" 0:0
03.02.2014 00:40:10: playername (ip) GUID - #98 "HandGrenade" 0:0
 
It's a banned item if so (blacklisted item a player has, or is trying to pickup).

We're always happy to help--but we also do not post players' IP addresses publicly.  Some people see it as a courtesy we don't need to extend to the cheaters, but it's not fair to other folks that may share a connection with them to be potentially attacked for someone else's behavior.

 

Ban Sys, and just try to keep IP's anonymous in the future.

Sorry I missed your question and reply Jimmy.  I see a #16 and a #198 every time.   Example:

this guy is kicked because of this rule #198, he reconnects and gets kicked again.

Check also "handgrenade" in create vehicle log, to check who created the grenade

2 scenarios:

1/ another player created this grenade  (createvehicle log), and PlayerNameRemoved tried to pick it => rare case, but why not ...

2/ PlayerNameRemoved created virtually this grenade by adding it in his inventory (addmagazine log) => ban in this case.

I've seen the Script Restriction below a few times now and I'm trying to figure out if this is a Hack or not.

No it is not if it's run by one player (generally the first who connects).

The player is kicked and have to reconnect.

Do not ban for this.
