What would you like to see added to Chernarus DayZ version?

I would love to see a prison!

yeah walking dead prison suggested this one million times glad to see its in.

I would like the areas west of South Zagoria to be added. There are already three community maps showcasing full terrain of Chernarus, and it could be like fast travel when you reach near the end of the map.

Are you talking mod or standalone? I'm also assuming you mean strictly physical structures like prisons.

I'd like:

1.Barracks at Green Mountain enterable (something else cool at GM)

2.Half of all deer stands returned to original loot tables

3. Maybe some starter bases along the western border

4. How about huge statue of Rocket as Stalin

5. Rivers, of course

6. BIG ONE-More animals! I

t's safe to assume the wolf and bear populations in eastern Europe would greatly expand upon humanity's destruction. Consider how most countries actually manage their wildlife populations. Park rangers observe, diagnose and cull wild animals to keep populations healthy and stable. Long term the game servers should feature a complex yet robust wildlife simulator. One thing Rocket's been pleased to talk about is how many zombies they've been able to spawn on a server as a result of the new architecture. Something like thousands, I recall.

Time wise, they couldn't be that far off from customizing their new the zombie system to spawn a plausible wildlife population. It'd be fascinating to see the ramifications of that kind of self feedback loop running in a world like DayZ. Lots of unscripted gameplay. For instance, out in the woods a wild bear smells the decaying flesh of several dead survivors at the OP's prison. Thirty minutes later you enter the scene to loot--seems quiet . . . no bandits. Inside the prison you hear the sound of fly's buzzing, alright! You brazenly crouch run around a tight hallway and bam you run right up on a fucking bear eating the dead survivor.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, sewers....yes, you heard me, sewers...nothing would be more terrifying then trapped underground in pitch black darkness with the only source of light is the flash of your gun as fire into a unrelenting crowd of undead that draws closer with each flash of the muzzle while you struggle to make your way through the inky darkness and then you hit the dead end.

Additionally, government buildings, in which you would more then likely find strategic but overunned bases used to house and protect government officials. With numerous suits and soldiers stumbling about you could see where all of the officials ran to die.

Mayby a strip club too, that would be amusing.

Oh yeah, when it comes to Zombies, I'm a detailed writer.

Prison has been confirmed for a while, as well as a massive wrecked ship. I'm pretty sure Utes is being added off the north-east coast (right?) of Chernarus, so boats will actually be useful.

I'd like to see a military base with some kind of AA emplacement so an active group of players could kill the zombies there, set up camp, and be able to shoot down invading helicopters 1-2 times/restart. Caltrops to break legs and pop tires would be nice too.

I'm pretty sure Utes is being added off the north-east coast (right?) of Chernarus, so boats will actually be useful.

A second island is also being added just below Utes[1].

I'm afraid the player populations will split between the Islanders and the Mainlanders. I'm planning on moving to Utes anyways, and setting up a trading post and medical base. Hopefully not too many of those nasty mainlanders will intrude upon our peace.

utes really isnt big enough to do that, and its mostly open fields

Sewers , abandoned camping areas, caves, more animals (Horses, deers, snakes, spiders, bee nests) crows over dead bodies, mud when it rains, climbable cliffs (ropes, anchors and shackles), wigs.

There are two islands, one mainly military and the other is all low level civilian loot. There will be a sublet of population on those two islands, and I'm planning on being one of the first to move. The islands will have everything needed for basic survival; food, water, varied equipment and a mixture of low and high level weaponry. I already know Utes very well, from countless missions in multiplayer in ArmA 2. Its about two to three times the size of an average BF3 map, and those maps house 24-64 players and there is still a lull in combat at times. With the majority of the server(80-95%) on the mainland, competition will not be too huge. You could make friends with the new neighbors, or kill them and send them back to the mainland. Either way, the swim alone would prevent most newspawns. I'd imagine some would come in the beginning to explore, but most will stick to the mainland. I'd see Utes as more of a place to loot and the smaller island below it as a place to live and hide loot. Either way, I'll avoid the mainland and move to the islands upon release.

With all the new islands being added i wouldn't mind something like canoes being implemented. I know that we've got boats already in the mod, but how great would it be to just take in the sunset in your own canoe. This is not a sales pitch for my up and coming business.

Even the images looks like its of the coast of Chernarus.(See the cabin on the left that shall be my new home).

But I would love to see more detailed imersion astethics of destruction, and signs of decay, a sense of ruination within the city, the belief that at one point, there were living humans here who were slaughtered and fought for their lives againts the undead.

Yes, in case you haven't figured it out, I AM BAT SHIT INSANE, but I digress, the more detail of what makes a undead world undead is what I seek in a lot of games.

This mod has all the potentail for it! <3
