Need infos about servers

Hello,

on dayz commander, if i download a new map, how do i know if its only a dayz new map or a special mod?

Like if i add Origins i know its origins mod on Taviana.

But if i install taviana map on commander, will be able to play dayz only on Taviana?

You can play each map that you download. If you add Origins, you can play Origins. If you download DayZ 2017 you can play DayZ 2017. Of course if you do not download the map you cannot play it.

When you download the a 'map' it is actually a separate mod in some sense. DayZ Taviana and DayZ Origins may be both based on the Taviana map but they are much different. Basically, if you download a map or mod, it will only download that specific map or mod. On the left you can filter for servers of only a certain mod, or you can filter for all of them. If you haven't downloaded the map yet it will give you an error on entering. You can download as many maps as you want... I just don't download the ones I know I'm not going to play.

So long as you have the appropriate map or mod installed dayZcommander will detect the right one to use when you join a server. so you can have all installed and dont have to mess about uninstalling.

Thank you. But there is standard dayz mode on other map than Cherna? I know there is mods, origins, taviana and stuff but i m looking for standard dayz, other map than Cherna
