Random events.

my suggestion in dayz is for random events to happen in servers please post any suggestions for random events down below.

Here are my suggestions: a tree falling over in a forest, a heli crashing and turning into a crashed heli site, possibly gunshots.

all thes random events would reset at server restart

so please post your ideas here

Kind of neat, but useless.

Some servers do have animated heli crash sites, which are awesome. But the whole "tree falling over" idea, doesn't really have a purpose. Like sure it's neat, but it's not going to effect me really. And the gunshots idea just seems stupid. A gun goes off, you lay there forever waiting for a player, yet it was just a random event.

I like the idea of random events but just not the tree falling and there are already random gunshots, from other players! The helicopter crash is a good one though.

Scavenge Hunts, e.g. leaving behind notes with coordinates and a little description: "Top: 15.504, Left: 18.095: Go 50 steps northeast to the big tree, turn 90 degrees left and walk another 15 steps." And there you find a new note with the next coordinates until you finally found the treasure :)
