Loading screen freeze

Hey guys,today i bought Arma 2 Combined Operations and installed DayZ...i use dayz commander to connect to a server but after i click ok and get mission files at the loading screen the 3/4 loads and then my computer freezes and i have to restart it from the button!

Any help??

EDIT:When i mean it freezes i mean i get the windows crash sound and i can't move the mouse or anything!!

Sounds like a driver issue or something to me.

Is your Graphicscard driver on a decent version? Also make sure to update Arma 2, Battleeye and dayz etc. to the newest version...go in the upper right corner of dayzcommander on "install/update" (yellow button) and update the stuff which is not "up to date"!

everything's up to date...and the graphics card driver...now another problem occured..i can't run the game..it gives me an error

Arma 2 OA has stopped working at the little boxes with checks before the game opens!!

OMG i just bought this game...i don't want it to be a waste!!i love DayZ

bad serial number given in setup!

I've had that bad serial number giving in setup error I believe.

Well, first, did you run both Arma II and Arma II: Operation Arrowhead separately? (I thought that was a step)

And also, run steam as administrator to avoid that error. (Just exit steam, right click it after it's shut down, and click "Run as administer")

Hopefully that will work.

Run steam as adminstrator and then what??play the game???i use dayz commander to get onto servers because normal server search in game gives me version errors!

Hey guys...so i unfortunately raged a bit but now i'm calm and willing to be helped :D

So some more information about my problem:

1)My "vanilla" arma 2 (without dayz) works fine so that means that i has something to do with DayZ

2)Before purchasing arma 2 through steam i had the pirated version(don't lock this thread because of this)but before i installed the steam version i had completely uninstalled the pirated version

3)If you did not understand what my problem is,well lemme explain:

I pick a server through DayZ Commander right?Then i get into the server and press ok to download the mission file...after that it navigates me to a loading screen where there is usually a custom backround picture and a bar below...My loading bar loads 3/4 of it and then my computer freezes,i can't move my mouse or alt+tab and these stuff and i'm forced to shut down my computer from the button!

So that's what i had to tell you,please i want your suggestions!

Hi. I've been looking around and this is the exact same problem I've been having with Dayz. I've tried reinstalling arma 2, arma 2 oa, and arma 2 dayz mod but nothing has worked so far. If a solution has been found please let me know!
