can i just delete them for the operation arrowhead folder? or will that affect the main mod in any way?

hello there

most well organised mods will be in your OA/CO main folder and will be prefixed by an @ sign.

If you have @dayz+ and say, @dayzi44 for example. deleting either should not interfere with the other.

To find the maps you've downloaded, you will need to navigate to your ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead folder.

I'm assuming you are using Steam.

Here is the path - C: Drive → Program files (x86) (may vary for others) → Steam → steamapps → common → arma 2 operation arrowhead

There you will find all the maps and mods you've downloaded for DayZ. As orlok said, they are marked with @.

The only file you DON'T want to delete is @DayZ.

All others should be okay.
