1.62 and then theirs 1.623454 what ever

i just got arma 2 and the oporation arrowhead and got dayz so i got on and most of the time the other servers are 1.6276789 something and i cant connect but when i find a server that is 1.62 it says server refused connection or something like that so who do i fix it please help

1.62 is the offical OA/CA build.

Most servers are running a beta build which will give you something like this (depending on beta)...

1.62.103419, you can find which version you are running in the bottom left hand corner of the main loading screen.

Download DayZ Commander and Use it to install and update all your files... you'll have a much less difficult time than manually patching

^^^^ Do this, in DayZ Commander you can change your game version on a dime (in literally 3 seconds) and it is very easy to access.
