Please Help: you were kicked off the game set variable #33

Hi, i am trying to help my friend with an Issue that we are finding very limmited information about. Ill try to be clear about how it is affecting him when trying to join game.

First the basic stuff

1) Beyond the shadow of a doubt he has the correct versions, (ive checked them myself through teamviewer) EVERYTHING is up to date.

2) We have tried every reccomended fix weve found on google search without success.

3) He has tried uninstalling the game completely 3 times. The third time he even uninstalled steam.

Now the actual problem

While attempting to join a server through dayz commander or steam he IS able to join a server into the lobby. When he hits connect, It starts to load. But when it gets to setup/creating character, It kicks him back to the lobby with the message you were kicked off the game set variable #33. He still is technically connected to the server, because he can try to connect again, but he gets the same message every time.

We have tried multiple servers with the same result, Even tried dayz origins servers (our favorite mod) same result.

His old computer he was able to join no problem. This problem started when he bought his new computer, so we are assuming it is something with that. It is an ASUS rog Windows 8, I7 3770k 16g of DDR3 1600 hz speed. duel gtx 670's with liquid cooler (doubt that last part matters. Just being very specific :P). His old computer had windows 7, we thought there might be some sort of disconnect with windows 8, but i dont see a huge number of people with this problem, so we are kind of in the dark :/. We also thought that there may be a problem with him installing it on his d drive, because his c drive is his 128 ssd drive, and theres no room for anything else. Lastly, Dayz is the only game that is giving him any grief. He is able to play LOL, PS2, BF3, hitman, dc heros, DI riptide, RE6, Batman arkham asylum, Chivalry, GW2.

Tell him to change the name he is using in game and see if that makes a difference.

we have a guy in our clan called twitchytrigger, and everytime he joined a server it kicked him because he had "trigger" in his name.

We have tried this. His name is Hellspawn, we had him try just spawn, and Tasha same thing. And hellspawn worked on his last computer so i dont think his name is the problem.

"Spawn" would proberbly get you kicked, did you say he tryed just "tasha" ?

We tried just Tasha. (his wifes name)

He went out for lunch, but ill have him try that when he gets back, and ill post on here with results.

I just got the Same issue. I created a new account within arma, and no luck.
