getting the dayz mod from steam or dayz commander?

hi guys, probably a newbie question but should i get the dayz mod from steam or the dayz commander? I bought the Arma X : Anniversary Edition, can I install all the expansions first then after that install the dayz mod?

Really need a guidance here, cheers ^_^

It actually doesn't care where you get DayZ from, but DayZ Commander is more useful since it has 20+ extra mods/maps and you can search for servers and add favorites.

I'd recommend DayZ Commander. As mentioned above it gives you easy access to a tonne of DayZ inspired mods and has some other cool features. :)

if your new to the game its probably going to be easier for you to get commander, its very simple and has extra maps
