We are a community made by gamers for gamers, focusing on providing a competitive, fun, combat logger and hacker free environment.

Balota Buddies hosts private servers in Australia, The United States and the EU with a mix of Origins, Chernarus and Namalsk plus extra maps hosted at random on one of our boxes. We operate all of our servers ourselves on dedicated boxes and are committed to providing a hacker free, lag and desync free(ish) arena for people to have fun in. The server moderators and admins are trusted and committed to providing a fair environment with no admin abuse and they do this job very well in addition to monitoring the logs and banning every filthy hacker they encounter!

Currently Hosted Servers: All servers are on four hourly restart timers.

Chernarus Public Weapons + (Custom Anti Hack, Extra Barracks, PVP Mayhem with zombies)
Namalsk Public (Extra Vehicles, Extra Weapons, face the elements if you dare, but the elements carry Ak74s)
Origins Public (Soon to be whitelisted, loot that works!)
Chernarus Whitelisted (Custom airfield buildings, lots of dynamic squad combat)
Chernarus Factions (A server designed for specific squad combat in a DayZ environment, details are on page 6

United States:
Chernarus Whitelisted (Very dynamic server, PVP and friendliness abound) Has gone public! See page 7 for details.
Chernarus Factions (In Re-Development with Custom Mod)
Utes PVP (custom gear spawns, plenty of wild features)

European Union:

Custom Scripts:
Balota Buddies run a series of custom scripts on our servers to enhance immersion and quality of gameplay, these are.

Steal Skin:
Damn, that guy had a ghillie, guess I better just TAKE IT FROM HIS COLD DEAD HANDS!

Vehicle Scavenge:
Steal full repaired parts off other vehicles and add them to yours? Ever feel like crippling someone's hidden car in the woods without gunfire? NOW YOU CAN! Steal that engine.

Fast Rope:
Want to get guys on to a hard to access roof without awkwardly landing a helicopter? Want to drop some dudes off without being exposed on the ground, just quickly hover at 25 meters altitude and let them acquire some sexual rope burn!

Halo Jumping:
Now you can pull the parachute whenever you feel like it, just don't do it too late!

Dynamic Helicopter Crashes:
Hear that? Is that a helo?!!! CHASE IT. Every 15-20 minutes a random Mi-17/Huey will spawn and gravitate towards the area of players (within several large grids) before suddenly exploding and crashing into the ground full of loot and zombies! Or, for the more daring, they can be brought down with a single shot so get your Makarovs ready!

Care Packages!:
Some friendly government has airdropped in crates just packed full of goodies! Some have food, others equipment, repair parts, ammunition and medical supplies!

Night Time Fog! (WIP):
Although dealing with some frame issues at the moment, soon the servers will have dynamic (different time every day) night cycles with the ground fog from Breaking Point.

Variety of Custom Buildings and Loot Tables:
Some new barracks added to spice up the NEAF, some more at NWAF (to make it even more dangerous) and a few choice weapons that have been added in for fun.

JSRS Jarhead's Sound Redeployment System:
JSRS server key is active so if you have it then you can reap the benefits and the soggy underwear! Full details can be found here and for installation instructions here.
The JSRS mod brings an entire new dynamic to Arma2 and DayZ in particular; the whizzing and cracking of rounds flying past or even that of cars driving and footsteps changing over terrain. Experience the terror of an LMG indoors.

Night Cycle
Night time cycles for 2-4 hours with full moon (on and off, in constant development)

Street-lights:
Shame it's getting so dark, good thing the power grid hasn't been extensively damaged yet and the street lights turn on.

Siphon Fuel:
Evolution/God/The Flying Spaghetti Monster gave you lips for a reason! Get that hose and mouth working and siphon all the fuel out of those cars and into your trusty Jerry. Abandon a car hidden somewhere and keep the fuel on you, or screw some poor sap over who didn't hide his UAZ well enough.

Crafting:
Sick of finding mountains of trash loot? Well here is your chance, now you can assemble together needed vehicle parts by smelting down pieces of scrap! You might need to fill up that Coyote Backpack with scraps instead of guns, choose wisely!


Vehicle Towing:
Vehicles can tow other small vehicles, helicopters can now tow small vehicles too. BOMBS AWAY!

BB is the best DayZ community I've ever played on. I was seriously getting ready to quit DayZ with all the hackers, scripters, loggers, and other such trash that was making DayZ unplayable. I have been around for six months now, never once seen a hacker in my entire time playing.

The US server is a fantastic experience. Been playing on it for 4 months and have NEVER died to a hacker. Admins are on all day and even though they have access to the map tool...they obviously don't abuse it because we have tents and vehicles that are rarely looted/stolen. The skill level is high. People aren't camping bambis in Cherno...they are playing intelligent Dayz. The server also has dynamic heli crashes, so there isn't the server restart loot grab effect...no matter where you are on the map, you have a decent chance of seeing a chopper crash around you (a BLAST if if you haven't seen it before) and getting some nice gear.

Gear isn't rare, so it's relatively quick to recover from a death...it doesn't ruin a week of hard work to get sniped. A few hours and you are back in the fight and ready for REVENGE. The admins also throw some extremely cool custom events for community members...motorcycle races, escort the VIP, admins abducted, etc. I'm sure there are some nice communities out there, but BB is so much fun. Come check it out.

Greetings to all. I played DayZ for many months pretty satisfied. Then I made friends with a man named Steak and Potatoes. He suggested Balota Buddies. Quite literally the BEST thing to happen to DayZ for me. They provide great servers, an amazing community, and a new DayZ experience. I have made great friends with a few people. Balota Buddies has changed my DayZ experience, let it change yours!

Ran by the most organised and understanding team makes the service absolutely perfect, with the moderators and admins working together, and with you, to sort out every problem you may have.

Opinions aren't thrown away here, and I've made some of the best friendships and memories playing here.

I can tell you in advance, that this is the server that you have been looking for, And i hope to see you in the community that is Balota Buddies.

I met Zsc0pe IRL (and I'm still alive) about 6 months ago and he told me about Baltoota Buggies. I had heard and played on their servers before they went whitelisted.

After meeting him I joined the community to catch back up with him, it was a lot of fun playing and meeting new people.

Soon I became friends with the staff and ended up volunteering becoming a whitelister.

Ended up being a head moderator since I loved dedicating my time to the players and servers; they're all really fantastic.

I hope more people join Balota Buddies, I say without a doubt the members and experience are wonderful.
