Suggestion - building a new system topic

Recommended Posts

The overall goal I am looking for is to divide up the current "Can I run it thread"

* Atm there is a mix of players of which are just asking how much performance they will receive and there are also players of which are building new systems entirely.

- In order to better organize this current suggestion, I've got an idea to allow better help both those IT vets of which are helping these new players and to those are looking for help.

Here is a simple start.

* Before posting in the "building a new system" thread or the "can I run it" thread.

- Post every single part that your planning to get with your system, this will help those IT vets to understand what you really need for your system, and find any bottleneck.

Building a new system is not all about just focusing on the Processor and GPU, but the entire system in general.

Are there parts of which you don't need?

* Yes, here is a list of what you need and don't need.

Parts you need.

* Motherboard

* CPU

* GPU

* RAM

* PSU

* HD or SSD

* Case

* CD / DVD burner

Parts not needed / unless your planning to overclock.

* Extra case fans.

* Extra cpu fans

* Heat-sink / Liquid cooling setup.

Here is a layout, that you would copy/paste.

* Then edit with your details

* Please provide all the information you can, it helps those trying to help you more than you can think.
