Side chat re-enabled?

Direct Chat doesn't work 'just fine'.

Direct chat has a limit to its range, this doesn't help new players at all.

Rocket would prefer it to be disabled, but doesn't care if it's enabled since it does help new players out tremendously.

Hm... I stand corrected. I guess I have no qualms playing on a server which enables side chat, if it is indeed allowed by the dev team.

I was under the impression that the mission file being altered for side-chat is forbidden. I guess Wüstenfuchs just wanted to make sure that the server had the proper permissions to do so.

Now I kinda feel bad for bringing this whole thing up, if it was a false alarm, lol.

It is now considered a blacklist(able) offense. If your server falls into a special category because a Dev member modified the .PBO than I and the dozen other admins who are PM'ing would like to contact him :)

I honestly don't remember the name right off hand, the mission file hasn't update since 1.6 and hasn't been touched since we got the server. Read this thread I wrote though

Side chat being enabled is NOT a bannable offense. It's ROCKETS own words.
