In Epoch, environment fades to black/night after login and running?

So at first I thought it was night coming on quickly, but it only darkens when I run and I eventually stumble to prone(with NVs on). If I sit still everything brightens up to daytime again. I thought it had to do with hunger/thirst/infection but everything is in the green. What is this? Encumberance/weight? I have no idea what this indicates. Thx

Yes, the server you are on must have a weight system. Look in the top right, it might show your level of fatigue.

Turns out 2 10oz gold bricks are hard to carry. thx
