Stand alone

I've heard of somthing called the standalone version or somthing I want to know what it is becuse I just got the gAme for 2 computers and if their getting it for somthing else il just be wasting money

A standalone is DayZ by itself, its not a mod so you won't need ArmA II CO to play it. ArmA II is a great game by itsef, I wouldn't think you've wasted money.

Honestly to all people who are thinking of buying DayZ now I think is a waste a money. The standalone alpha is almost there and Arma 3 also, so it's better to wait for both :)

The standalone is the full, paid version of DayZ that will be coming out soon. It will have an improved engine and fewer bugs and hackers, and... well, just go here to read about it: http://dayzdev.tumblr.com/
