This will make the game fully use youre 7870 instead of youre cpu.Try this and report back..
John69 64 Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) So, no improvement...same fps? What driver are you using for that HD7870? This is latest AMD driver : http://www.guru3d.co...2_download.htmlAnd what HDD are you using, you know if its a SSD or a "normal" HDD, if "Normal" HDD you know if its a slow spinning one eg.4800 or 5200rpm? EDIT: I saw youre using RamdiskOther drivers are up to date?Maybe you messed something up while fiddling with the cfg files Edited May 20, 2013 by John69

acemannw 0 Posted May 24, 2013 I am having this same issue. I can go into ARMA 2 and get 60fps but in DayZ I am only getting 5-12 fps!
Provos 7 Posted May 25, 2013 Try not to play in windowed mode. That seems to lower the fps. What software are you using to check fps?
arrowxd 9 Posted May 29, 2013 I was having this problem, try a server with decent ping, defrag your arma 2 and arma 2 OA as it will speed up the load times, my fps did increase after a while of playing which is unorthodox but i just kept playing and it got better.
