Frame rate issues on laptop

Recommended Posts

I have a Sony Vaio F VPCF115FM

CPU You Have: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz

CPU Speed You Have: 1.6 GHz Performance Rated at: 3.6 GHz

RAM You Have: 6.2 GB

Video Card You Have: GeForce GT 330M

I have been having some framerate issues no matter what setting i run the game on, I was wondering if this is a hardware issue or if there was a trick i could use to speed up my frame rate.

Disable Hyperthreading if you have it. (You should, as it's an i7.)

That aside, your CPU probably doesn't have the power to run ARMA properly.

I have the same problem. <my specs:

Intel Core i5-3210m 2,5GHz

Nvidia Geforce GT 640m (2gb ram - dedicated)

8 gb DDR3 ram

I have played Dayz and Arma II on this pc for well over 4 months, but in the whole of may, I have had issues with FPS drops from 60 to 15 after 10 minutes of play. :/

There are times where my fps will be around 25 and then it will just drop to around 8 randomly and then speed back up
