boxman80 964 Posted May 15, 2013 Hi all, I've recently started having problems with Battleeye updates when trying to connect to my server. Started about a week or so back, each time theres an update I have a hell of a job getting updated. Once I connect I get the message that my BEClient is out of date 1.97 1.20 required etc. Then it says "updating" then once updatd it says "initializing 1.97" again! Then I get kicked for having out of date BEfiles!I';ve tried the only suggestion on BE's website which is to download the client manually, and this has made no difference at all! Any advice at all? I'm gonna assume you're using Steam, if not the same principle applies.Got to C:\Users\YOUR USER HERE \AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA and delete everything in that folder.restart steam as admin (right click and select run as administrator)Start arma 2 oa and sit in a low ping batteye enabled multiplayer game and wait for battleye to update. Im running the stand alone version actually and had just tried to "uninstall" battle eye from the battle eye folder in the belief it would automatically install once i loaded up OA but now I cant connect to any server as it just says failed to initialise for BE. AmberHelios 2071 Posted May 15, 2013 the game needs to be started by right clicking and run as admin to copy the dll file over to the appdata folder since this needs admin rights thats why you are having issues updating to the new version as it can overwrite the file 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
