Question about the Arma 2 Shooting Range

Recommended Posts

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured this would be the best place.

I'm fairly new to Dayz and I want to test out some of the weapons in Dayz so I can get better with them. However, ammo is obviously something you want to conserve in the game, so I want to download the Shooting Range mod.

I don't know if downloading that will impact my current character in Dayz. I have a good setup going on and I don't want to loose my stuff if I play the Arma 2 shooting range mod. I'd like to mess around in the shooting range then go back to Dayz and be where I left off. Is that what happens, or will I have to start all over in Dayz if I boot up the Shooting Range?

Does anyone have experience with this?

It has nothing to do with DayZ, it's an ArmA 2 mission, so your character will be fine. Run ArmA without the @DayZ mod and play the mission.Your character will be stored on the server you play on.
