Sepehr-R (Serpent) 0 Posted May 14, 2013 I feel like in order for Day Z to really be a game about Survival, there needs to be a tolerance and will to live system in the game. For example, a character will become more tolerant to cold, pain hunger, etc. if he or she is exposed to it for some days and has survived. Also, a will to live system would be nice, for example, a character with very little will to live, (due to not finding gear or constantly getting close to death or starving, or even seeing a friend die) will get hungry, tired, etc. faster but a character who has a very high will to live (lets say from killing lots of zombies, eating a good meal or finding high tier gear) will receive a bonus to his or her stats. DemonGroover 8836 Posted May 14, 2013 Bonuses to stats? I really don't know how DayZ is going to go in this regard. Rocket spoke of getting better at fixing cars and giving medicine if you do it enough times. So you are suggesting that you will get less hungry and more resistant to cold the longer you play? I am sure you would eventually if you survived long enough.I don't know how you would implement a will to live system and i honestly don't like the idea. The will to live should come from the player not a number.
