DayZ mod average lifespan?

Everyday this bugs me and everyday I forget to bring it up, but finally the day of reckoning has come. Is it just me or has the average lifespan [1 hour and 9 minutes] on the homepage been exactly the same for the last 6+ months?

That's very true...

I don't think much of it is accurate anymore, as majority of players are on private hives, and when I logged into the public hive yesterday my character was 96 days old...

I don't think any of the website stats are correct anymore. I'd be surprised if they are even connected to the current hive but haven't really paid attention to see if the others have changed so can't say for sure.

TIme is incorrect, average life span would most likely be three or four, just judging by how many noobs there are.

well i guess it's is weird that it's been 1h09 for so long, but then again, i do die frequently (95% of the time due to bugs (hero-skin falling from sky, jumping randomly on the docks, doing backflips over a rabbit, getting killed by doors, and even the überkillbush!)).

but not every hour.

and then there are the players who went private or stopped playing altogether.

Any guesses on what the average time should be like now?
