sciencemtp 0 Posted May 11, 2013 It's been months since I've played DayZ, so I decided to reinstall Arma and DayZ and try to play.Yet every single standard server I connect to kicks me stating some form of BE SetVariable Restriction #0, 21 20 etc.I can connect to private hives just fine, so it has something to do with my character I'd assume? I honestly have no idea.Is it possible to have my character deleted or slain so I can just respawn with a new one? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SmashT 10907 Posted May 11, 2013 (edited) What's your in-game name?SetVariable Value Restriction's are often caused by players using names with restricted words/letter strings in them, "call", "code", "set", "trigger", "load" just to name a few. Filtering certain strings aids in security against cheaters. Try creating a new profile on the main menu with a different name.
