Hello fellow DayZ players. I and a group of friends have a project we are trying to take off the ground. It's something we've done in another game and it was pretty successful. So we decided to bring this idea over to DayZ and eventually the DayZ standalone.

Here are some points to brief you on to fill you in on what we're going to be doing.

Factions:

We are creating factions that the player can join and decide to be a part of so they can immerse themselves in the lore. Whether you choose the comfortable yet structure filled government citizen life. Or the rugged free life as Free Men. There are rules and freedoms unique to only these factions. While the Free Men may have less rules, they can create their own (However Deadlands admins will not punish anyone for breaking these rules)

The map is the focal point of what we are trying to do. We are creating lore for our world to allow players an enviroment to escape from mindless killing and KOSing. There will be a map provided for players to fill themselves in on what factions control what. Boundaries will be made obvious on this map and must be respected.

The Rules:

Players must use teamspeak 3. If they dont want to talk, they can just sit in the AFK channel. But incase there is an issue, we need to have them on teamspeak.

Boundaries must be respected.

There is no pvp INTO or OUT OF a SAFE ZONE.

There is no abuse of the border to shoot people and run back in. There is a 1 minute rule on running out of a safe zone.

Respect all players, especially admins for they dedicate their time to running the server and making it safe for players.

What we need:

People who are willing to help us build pages and graphics.

Moderators

People who just wanna play around and have fun

What we currently have:

Teamspeak 3

A dedicated server for DayZ Origins (Whitelisted)

A website we are working tirelessly on.

Joining us will allow us to build our community full of people who are interested in what we are trying to create and to have fun with us. So if you join us now you will be allowed a headstart on our server. Build your base, build your clan up. And you will also be awarded a Founder tag when the project goes live.
