Something strange

Hello guys, how are ya ? ;)

Im having a problem with my ping while playing dayz,it jumps from 90~120 onto 500-600

whenever it feels like it,on other games im having 90 ping not more..

Im from israel and playing on the FR and UK public hive servers.

any advice? thanks

ALSO: Nothing is working while im playing,not downloading any torrents and barely leaving something open

Hmm I don't know much about this, but I'll give it a shot:

1. Is there a possibility of it being your internet provider?

2. Are you wirelessly connected to your router? Or are you using an Ethernet cable?

Not sure if any of this helps, but I also heard about a website called pingtest.net (or something like that) and it tests for packet loss, you might want to try out something like that.

But your best bet would be to hope someone smarter than me comes along.

DayZ servers are rented by users, many of them are quite unstable.

Does this happen on popular servers, with professional hosting?

Yes,i guess FR and UK are pretty popular,and with a professional hosting...

What he means is, Joe blow across the way can host a popular server, yet it can be shit. Whilst there is something such as BMRF or Balota Buddies, which is a prime server package, with excellent server hosting.

You're router is most likely crashing. It happens to me all the time. Turn off the router for ten seconds, then turn it back on.
