Space lost after uninstalling Combined Operations

So I decided to uninstall Arma 2: Combined Operations so I could later re-install it.

There is a problem however. The uninstall setup only took about 5 seconds and I never got the 17+GB back on my hard drive. No remaining files from the game were left.

I tried rebooting my PC, no luck. Where do I look now?

try scanning your disk for errors if its a steam game redownload and then uninstall from steam running as admin
