Skype

Recommended Posts

When me and my friend use skype in game, it turns down the volume of the game all on its own, how do I stop this from happening? I have windows 8, and on windows 8, skype is an app, on which I can't find the F**king settings menu.

As you can tell I'm being calm and angry all at the same time here, any help that comes in time, before I throw my computer down the stairs, would be helpful.

Thanks.

Step 1. Buy windows 7

But the way your making it sound, it's turning the game volume down. So if that's the problem, just turn it up ingame.

Windows 8 is just fine. Apps though suck soooo bad.

I had the exact same problem, just download skype online as a file and install it in the desktop environment.

That solved it for me at least.

It is actualy Windows that does this. Just right click the sound icon on your taskbar and click on "playback devices". Go to the communications tab and make sure u have "Do Nothing" selected.
