Can i run it? (Just about)

Recommended Posts

Im not sure if this is the right forum page and sorry if it is but:

Ive wanted DayZ for ages now, but have been wondering if i could run it. ive got information bellow and hopefully you guys can give me a rough idea how bad/good the gameplay i can get will be, and how i can fix it if it is bad.

CPU:

Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.40GHz

CPU Speed:

2.4 GHz

Ram:

2.0 GB

OS:

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series Video Card Features: Pixel Shader version = 4.1 Vertex Shader version = 4.1 Dedicated Video RAM = 256 MB

when i scan it on other Can you run it softwares, its usualIy under minimum. know your probably thinking, well. the answers simple then, but some games come up with this on scans that i can actually run OK.

Thanks guys! (and tell me if im on the worng forum, but it should be ok on here right?)

But to answer your question anyways.

You need some serious upgrading to your computer.

EDIT: So basiclly, no you cannot and never will be able to run dayz with those specs.

Sorry. You'll need to invest in a new motherboard, CPU, and a dedicated video card.

about a $300-ish upgrade

I know that your being kind in all but I think you should just direct him to the correct page and leave it there :)

No offense, but I burst out laughing at your rig. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING but the most basic components should be replaced. Even an Intel HD 4000 would run this at about 40 frames on Low settings. Don't take offense, but your rig is beyond pathetic.

Well, good job.

You guys scared off yet again another newcomer to the forums.

Saying that one's computer is horrible shouldn't scare someone away from forum. If so, the OP is a bit silly, since he asked whether or not he can run it.

OP, use the provided link [thanks GOD] in the second post to ask.
