I think there seems to be some sort of damage value mess-up with 7.62 ammo where it has a drop-off after about 300m and sometimes headshots don't kill.. I can't seem to find another explanation, They should've been clean kills!

Could be desync. I had some issues where people could unload 15 dmr shoots before i was down. I still wasnt dead, the hour glass effect was in, but no timer another 5 shots killed me.

800m: 3,642 blood

It's still as powerful at 800 meters as an M16A2 at point blank, and you can't survive an 5.56 headshot at point blank, so damage shouldn't be a problem.

Either the server didn't register it as a headshot, it was some kind of desync, or they were hacking... can't think of many other explanations. Sometimes a bullet ricochets into someone or bounces off their gun dealing low damage but not here...

I would just put it down to an unfortunate glitch or error and carry on.

Ive noticed a hell of a lot of issue's like this recently, especially on high pop/heavily modified servers, people can become so dsync'd that they become invincible, in really bad cases they dont even spawn in loot or attract zombies.

know a few people that get it really often who have decent PC's so it doesnt seem to be a hardware issue.

Someone suggestedto me that it could be caused by overzealous anti hack programs scanning the client,
