Arma 2 SP no lag, DayZ no FPS. (Specs posted please help)

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.130108-1504)

Language: English (Regional Setting: English)

System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard

System Model: p6-2330

BIOS: 8.04

Processor: AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~3.6GHz

Memory: 6144MB RAM Available OS Memory: 5528MB RAM.... my pc runs games fine like for instence skyrim or minecxraft on ultra settings. it runs Arma 2 fine but dayz always had 10-20 fps and 30 if i get lucky. please help!

that only really applies to before you get the game... he already knows he can't run it very well

Really you need a quad core to run dayz your dual core is sharing resources with your gpu when your running a cpu intensive game with shared graphics they are both fighting to use the same resources and you will see a performance hit. getting a separate gpu will help with framerate a little bit but upgrading to a good quad core will help a lot. have you tried following the tread on these forums about how to tune the setting to get better performance

Would a

Galaxy - GeForce GT 640 Graphic Card - 1 GPUs - 950 MHz Core - 1 GB DDR3 SDRAM make it any faster?
