Which textures/things are affected by the DLC?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently running DayZ with just ArmA:CO (ergo: PMC & BAF lite), but I've been wondering for some time which textures exactly are affected by the Private Military Company and British Armed Forces DLC. I'm looking for specifics on this question, so anyone who knows which textures will improve with these DLC packs is free to comment on it.

I already know that the player texture is from PMC, but I'm pretty sure there's more stuff that will look better when having these DLC packs. I'm thinking of buildings, weapons, terrain, flora & fauna, etcetera. Maybe people know of other benefits to having these DLC packs?

Or does anyone know of a list being available where differences are compared/pointed out?

In reference to this, I'd also like to know if there's a performance-hit when using the DLC, since they contain higher quality textures, or is this negligible? I'm running DayZ on fairly high settings at about 40-50 FPS, at the moment. Maybe 30 FPS in (big) towns.

So to summarize:

1) Which in-game stuff is affected by either one of the DLC packs?

2) Does it hurt performance, and if yes, to which degree?

Oh, and I totally posted this in the wrong section. :dodgy:

Could someone move this to General Discussion, please?

PMC: Default survivor textures

BAF: Ghillie, Camo skins. L85A2, AS50 guns.

Don't forget that this is not a texture pack, its a DLC with lots of vehicles, guns, units, new campaign.

It doesn't hurt performance.

Alright, so buildings etc are not affected?

And could you move this to General Discussion please? ;)
