Extremely high ping

My ping in dayZ is around 500-600 and i keep getting kicked for high ping, i have played more intensive games than it and get 100 ms. Help?

Try playing on a server that is hosted closer to you.

What Hockey said, and also make sure you are not downloading nor uploading anything, at all while playing. If you are using DayZ Commander, I like to set it to close after I join, this only helps a tad bit though.

i have encountered such problem myself and came to these conclusion that undead human and pornographic imagery do not coincide.. therefore neither should share inbound internet traffic at same time or they will conflict

Search for in your country. For example, I live in America, so I would search for US in DayZ commander.

At my house we have Netflix, two computers, and Xbox Live. If no one is using any of those besides me on DayZ my ping will usually be 100. If the two computers are used, my ping may be up to 150-200. If Xbox live is on, it makes me load slower, but my ping stays around 175. If someone is on Netflix, my ping will range from 800-2100. I always get kicked immediately when it gets that high. So other things can mess up your connection.
