PLEASE HELP! WON'T LET ME JOIN ANY SERVERS!

Okay, so a few months ago I had Dayz installed correct and everything was perfect and I got Combined Operations on steam, Just recently in I believe January I installed a graphics card and Windows 7. I decided to get Dayz commander instead of manually installing dayz (since everything was out of date and etc). Once I got onto the application I went straight towards the installing thing, I updated arma 2 and installed dayz and the extras that I wanted, I go into the game but for some weird reason, it's saying my version is out of date but everything is the same as all the other servers.

Try using DayZCommander, that should help you find servers better. Also you can install and reinstall DayZ with ease on that program.

A quick Google search should let you find the DayZCommander website with ease. I hope that helps.

P.S. It says bad version, I'm pretty sure that means that the server you are trying to join is a bad Arma II or DayZ version, or you have a bad Arma II or DayZ version. These problems can be easily fixed with the commander and you can filter servers that are playable.

The guy with the Gerber Insurance as his profile pic above me has a pretty good idea of what's going on. Now, since it says bad version, it does most likely mean either you have an outdated version -MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE LATEST BETA PATCH!!- or the server does, either in the DayZ_code, or in the beta patch or maybe even just your ArmA version.

Well im using DayZ to get to the servers as well and used it to update it and everything before making this topic.

Please continue to help Rogueltc. I am having the exact same problem. I have Arma 2 version 1.62, downloaded, intalled, and running successfully early this month. I downloaded DayZ immediately after. Almost every server I try to join gives me the exact screens Rogueltc shows above. Every single server I click on turns into a "Bad Version. Server rejected connection." The people at Arma 2 support have taken me as far as they can. For the very few servers I am able to connect with, I only have time to see the ground before it freezes and I get a message that says "Something went wrong, please disconnect and try again." This is after all the loading seemed to go perfectly, including character data, etc.

Please continue to help. Arma 2 CO works fine, but as you might expect, DayZ is the whole reason I got Arma 2 CO.
