Hello , I need a server to bend in.

I've had this game for like near 6 months now and still i can't get myself into it.First I had tough time configuring the perfomance of it and second , i can't find a server to satisfy my requirements.

I love after apocalypse (huge Fallout series fan) and zombie (huge Resident evil and Walking dead fan) but ...i have tough time to find a server to bend in and play for a good while cause of some reasons i will explain , so please if you can recomend me one...or...if wanna accept me in your clan or something , i would love it.

- I suck at PVP , I am very good at sneaking , very cooperative , extremely resourceful but i am terrible at PVP and always has been since little boy gamer.I developed my skills way more on PVE than PVP.

- I hate hate hate hate people who shoot on sight , especially when i am running around with only a flashlight in my hand.

- I am looking for a server where not everyone shoots on sight...somewhere where people use their heads instead of their COD skills.This ain't COD! And no no , not friendly servers with no PVP , cause that would be a little boring but no 100%pvp servers eather...

- Less zombies...alright...these things can be so annoying zig zagging , going through walls and infesting the towns.Seriously , their AI is broken , they run like hell and they spot you from miles.

- If there is a server where zombies don't run I WOULD LOVE IT! After all they are zombies , they barely walk cause their minds are almost dead and cannot process most of the things they see.

- TS3 , yeah would be cool if i blend in some group of active Day Z players.

Would really appreciate some recomendations.

On a serious note, maybe you should have a look at some of the RP servers maybe?

Hey I know a good private hive server with a teamspeak server and lot's of friendly's who don't shoot on sight if approached right of course ;) also there is still quite a few bandit's so its still fairly interesting.

especially if you get your self a good group of survivor's in the server to play with.

Because it is a private hive as you can expect there is custom changes to it but nothing bad all good ... thing's like extra buildings in town's , custom camp's to live in and different weapon's to use more precisely they replaced the .50 cals with the m40a3 and mk12 snipers, so no one shot bandit's hanging around :)

Well what i want is no infested towns with zombies literly spawning from everywhere...its just redicilius.A low to fair amount of zombies in town should be fine , and no i don't mind PVP ofcourse when you feel threatened you can shoot no one will gudge you , but i hate shoot on sight players , like even if i am just going the other direction they are.

RP means Roleplay. Taking on the role of your character.

It's pretending you are that character and doing the stuff he would do.

The most common RP servers are City life and Tajikistan life. Both really fun.

I saw your post and thought I would drop you a line and offer some help and invite you to join our server.

Our server runs a modified version of the 2017 mod (version 1.1) for a unique play experience. We have basic starting gear, a bandage and a box of pain killers, no weapons, tools, etc. Low server population (great for new players) Custom AI squads patrolling the map hunting zombies and/or players. Full moon every night to aid in playing in the dark. Friendly and helpful admins. Just filter for "DayZHerd" in DayZCommander. IP: 173.192.200.71:3017

Imo bandits make the game what it is i'll give you a scenario

- PVE - ahh lets go to the NWAF stroll past the zombies get looting up to fuck now what do we do? I fully understand some people love RP its not for me but there are servers for that. But to make a sweeping statement that people treat the game like CoD is incorrect. Some people do play the game like that, but you'll find that if you join a decent community i.e. FUN-GAMING (little plug there) or Balota buddies you will see that KoS is going to make you a fuck off target to most people on the server.

- Normal servers - lets not go to the NWAF because we'll get shot, lets gather supplies from deerstands build up a little team then head up to the top loot and try and get a decent rifle, after 2 hours of scoping out the AF you decide to finally run into one of the hangers to see if anythings about the zombies agro and you hear a shot you run away and try and judge where its coming from, maybe with you buddies covering you. You cannot tell me that you would ever have that rush of adrenaline playing on a PvE server.

Well here is my scenario , i spawn...no weapons no nothing , i try to find some firearms so i can protect myself and then head to somewhere where there is not much people so i can build something like a defence spot...instead i get spotted by some guy with firearms , and i get killed.

I spawn again , i get some firearms , i head to the more deserted areas , i see a guy he sees me , i tell him i am frendly...i get killed.

I spawn again , some group of bandits kill me.

I spawn again , i head imidiatly to high loot areas cause i am already on the edge of smashing my keyboard from raging and i am anxious ...i get killed.

How is that fun?

Not his fault if he is being shore camped, been on plenty of servers where people just drive up and down the coast road killing people.

But the way to counter this is to either find a low pop server, or as stated "get better" at hiding.

Making the kill is not "being good". In an open world game, being able to achieve what you want to do, is being good. Being forced to adapt to a style by others, can never be considered learning to be good.

http://www.dayzrp.com/ offers roleplay servers on which you are not allowed to shoot on sight but you are allowed under certain circumstances like someone robbing you (or the person you want to rob opens fire at you or runs away,...) This makes some quite "realistic" gameplay as you would expect people to behave in the zombie apocalypse.

And if you want to stay on the "normal" servers i would suggest to be more patient. If you want to survive solo search vantage points and scan the surroundings then go in quickly, grab the stuff you need and get out. Stay north east, Berenzino and NE airfield. If you meet another player get behind cover as quickly as possible and try to speak to him, if he doesnt answer or tries to engage shoot him. If you are bad at pvp always go for assault rifles, akm would be the best common one. You can just spray it and if your positioning is good you will not fail.

Why is it that people get so defensive when a player says they aren't good at PvP or wish to be left out of the TDM that goes on in a lot of servers. Why do people think that their idea of "fun" works for everyone? Yes this is a PvP oriented game but I think the OP is asking for is a spot where they can explore without being shot on sight by some douche bag while he is armed with a bandaid and a flashlight. I really hope you find a decent hive so you can get a better Dayz experience.

My PC is bad , and the game gets frame freezes in towns , and most of the time does not go more than 20fps , like that is not enough but cause of my game's poor performance and lack of skill in PVP i get owned by some 14 years old kids who play on their daddies computers with the super graphics and smooth performance...this reminds me of the saying ''no country for old men''

I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR 2 AND A HALF YEARS (not always on dayz) AND ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IS TO BE PATIENT. HOW DO YOU NOT BE PATIENT IN ROLEPLAY? HOW?! HOW WOULD YOU NEED TO BE -MORE- PATIENT IN ORDER TO PLAY ON NORMAL SERVERS?
