How do I trade?

Hello I am viewing the trade section on the forum and it all looks nice and dandy in all but what I dont understand is how you trade? becuase of all the different servers, is there a server that allows you to carry gear over or is it a offical dayz mod etc? I am really confused...

All the public servers are linked, that's what the traders trade on. So just find someone, agree on a public server and hope they don't snipe you.

You can only trade on the main hive or with other players on the same private hive as you. There is no way of carrying gear between different private hives.
