Massive FPS decrease...

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am having ( on some servers ) about 25 - 40 fps not in cities.

On some servers I am a bit laggy on some places but I have like 6 fps when looking

at tree. From distance its not that bad but if I am in forest with the trees ( orange leaves )

and I look up, then its bad. Also if I am on server 8 players+ I have in cities 10 - 15 fps.

I am using RamDisk ( that gave me some FPS+ I think )

I run everything on low ( except video memory - set to default )

I set the stuff in config

When playing arma 2 OA, its not that bad.

I am playing on laptop - I dont know if that makes any difference

PC specs are:

Ram - 6 GB

Processor - AMD A6-3420M APU with Radeon™ ( Quad core )

Graphics - AMD Radeon HD 7450M and AMD Radeon™ HD 6520G

I tried website "can I run it" or something like that and I was above minimum.

Any solution?

That's a 1.5Ghz CPU mate, it's no surprise you're having problems.

Make sure anti-aliasing and post-process effects are disabled completely if you haven't already.

What resolution? The 7450M is quite... low-end, too.

1366x768 both settings 3D resolution and screen resolution ( in dayz )

Also, what should I do or buy to fix that?

That's a Laptop. I guess? There's nothing you can really do... expect buying a computer with better Hardware (I recommend a desktop).

Recently I hear about something like external graphics card, just like external hard disk.

Is there any way it could work?
