clearing buildings for loot

some of my friend think that it is conceived to clear building to spawn loot. is it right or it is like a bug using?

If you emptied lootspots and they didn't respawn loot, how long do you think people would run around not able to find anything before the server was empty of all loot and players?

Loot needs to respawn or the game would be entirely pointless, you would be just a pawn running around with no food, water or weapon... how much fun would that be?

its not bug abuse or cheating to farm loot, its just a tedious process and as I'm sure you will know it's dangerous to stay in one spot for too long.

It is kind of a bug/exploit but I don't think server admin will ban you for it.

i don't talk about disabling respawn, i talk that you mustn't sit at one building for all day, it's fine when you search for loot in different places, and it would be great if loot will respawn more than in 5 minutes. in real life if you clear the building, loot won't appear from nowhere

i mean that it wasn't developer's objective to farm loot

Loot cycling? I've seen the evidence sometimes on private servers - piles of crap outside barrack's doors for instance. Maybe it could be argued that it's an exploit but I imagine it is dangerous to do and essentially players are just speeding up time as there is no rule about revisiting the same loot pile.

As items continue to spawn even after being cycled I don't really see a problem, if there were only a certain number of specific items spawned between server resets I would think differently, but as far as I know it's all random.
