terrvik 2409 Posted April 6, 2013 PlayWithSIX creates a new folder for all the mods and stuff. I am pretty sure you can change that somewhere. You can also see the details on what is currently being downloaded and such,

herrjon 478 Posted April 7, 2013 Arma II has a beta patch that needs to be updated, did you do that on DayZ Commander or somewhere else? That could be your problem with Six. Steam does not automatically do this as there are a number of servers on a number of different beta patches. If by "delete DayZ from steam" do you mean unistall or simply remove the library reference? If you downloaded DayZ via steam, unistalling it would mean you would have to re-download it via Six or DayZ commander, but you should be able to just remove it from your library if you like to keep things tidy.I still would say it's worth sorting out DayZ Commander because it is a much better program in the long run. Maybe if you could further describe your problem with DZC we can help you make it work.

I wasn't sure why Six wanted me to install DayZ again but I realized because the DayZ folder was in the steam folder, not the mod folder that is created.I realized this after installing it with Six.But since I beta patched with DZC not Six, will that bring any issues in the future? What I mean by deleting DayZ from steam is actually deleting all of it's content. Since I downloaded it from steam it should be in the steam folder. I'd like to keep my mods organized and want to just keep DayZ on Six. Would this work fine?
